In the upcoming 2.17 update Emerald Dofus will undergo some serious changes. Not only its bonus will be increased to +200 Vitality, but also the way it's obtained will be different. Instead of a low drop chance from Dark Vlad players can now get it through a special quest line.
To help everyone who wants a shiny new egg we prepared a detailed guide on how to obtain Emerald Dofus. It's full of maps and pictures to help you at every step of your journey. Now you will have no excuses and you can finally get enough Vitality to survive attacks from angry Gobballs.
2.17 update is coming soon! It will be released on December 10. The beta version is available now!
Among the changes are:
- New Sidekick system (read more about it on our special page)
- Emerald Dofus can now be obtained through quests. Its stats are increased to 200 Vitality.
- A new dungeon for levels 190+ (similar to N or Celestial Bearbarian) is open in Amakna:
- New sets for all levels:
- New quests and ornament related to Vigilantes
- Changes to pushback damage (its effectiveness is greatly reduced)
- Changes to Sram and Ecaflip spells
- A new interface that helps you figure out what you can craft based on resources in your inventory/bank/chest.
Additionally, pushback damage no longer will instantly kill characters in Missiz Frezz dungeon. Instead, pushed characters will receive 20% erosion penalty.
Selected players had a chance to test a new upcoming feature - a sidekick system called Multiman.
This new feature will add unique supporting characters which can be controlled by players in a PvM fight. These sidekicks can be activated by equipping a special rune in a new item slot. It is yet unknown how said runes could be obtained in the game.
Multimen are supposed to be more powerful than summons and incarnations but less powerful than regular character classes. Although they can't be used in PvP, they might be really handy for single accounters.
At the end of November all Dofus servers will have double experience and drops weekends. The bonus is offered as a compensation for recent problems with monsters who didn't finish their turns quickly.
The double experience weekend will start on Friday, November 22 at 18:00 Dofus Time and will end on Monday, November 25 at 9:00 am Dofus Time.
The double drops weekend will take place the week after and will start on Friday, November 29 and will end on Monday, November 29 at 18:00 Dofus Time and will end on Monday, December 2 at 9:00 am Dofus Time.
The bonus experience and drops won't apply to fights in Bonta/Brakmar arenas.
